This one - Diclohexal gel - 40g tube - the active ingredient is Diclofenac Sodium - same stuff in Voltaren Emulgel - just a LOT cheaper - like 25% of the Voltaren cost.

In the light of the OP's problem and the number of times this topic comes up I'm suprised that one of the many bike fitters (in SA) have not developed a more advanced custom saddle fit system that measures actual pressure distribution while you sit on the saddle and can be used to check which saddle fits best.

 

Perhaps even making custom saddles, kind of like shoe orthotics but for the seat interface area...?

Do you know anybody that uses the adamo saddle and why they use it? I dont have any soft tissue problems, just those 2 screaming pointy things called sit bones that makes me wonder how 8 day of 7hours + wil make me feel������������������

Have you tried the wtb silverado thin line .Our weight is similar and a friend that also is the same weight uses the same saddle.Tried 5other saddles last year .The correct saddle must be comfortable within the first hour of riding and the stay that way .Taking weeks or months to adapt to a saddle is Bull

I did Epic at that Weight or a bit lighter. No worries mate, you will spend a lot of time out of the saddle as you will be walking pushing the bike a lot...

How comfortable your saddle is is very dependent on your bike set up as well.

Just as a matter of interest I had the same problem that was resolved by lowering my saddle by about 2mm........went for a fit and one of the adjustments was raising my saddle a few mm and that is where the trouble started.....set it back to what it was and all fine
