I am now the proud owner of a South African classic - the Hansom.Paid R899, which I think is fair for what it is. Question is this. What do you think I should do to make her whole? I'm going to replace the seat for starters, as thats a bit patchy, I also would like to raise the handlebars somewhat, but they're pretty much as high as they go without falling off, so any ideas there? Or do you all like to hang them up as object d'art in the garage? @LeTurbo - I'll take some photos tomorrow when its daylight with a proper camera. I've already adjusted her as much as I can to my frame. Moved the seat down, the handbars up, centred the wheels better, and swore at the people that were on the chain last (as one does). Assuming it doesn't rain I'll give her a quick ride tomorrow evening.I have some LED lighting for the wheels that I brought in a while ago from .cn so I can be moderately safe, even though its never 100% with Taxi's and other crazies in the road!
