Possible Stolen Merida 29

I have located a 29 Merida near Wierda Park, I can not upload the photo, if anyone has been hijacked or had one stolen please contact me on 0832552425, this bike is very new, and has added bar ends, has a new bike rack thats been added by the bad guys, we know who has brought it and where it was sold from in the township, I urgently need an owner or case number to proceed. I suspect this bike was one of the 29's hijacked early in the year in the Mnandi/wierda park area.Thanks

Is there a serial number on the frame?

Find it, get in contact with the Merida distributor, they should be able to tell you which retailer got it.

Then maybe they can narrow down who might have bought it.

The distributor will be contacted tomorrow, and I do have the serial number so hopefully can trace it, if not the guy gets to keep it !!!!!

It is done as part of the shipping, not to track per se...it's more for bookkeeping purposes, which in this instance is very handy.

And the owner can look forward to the improvements (pannier) that was added free of charge. He is going to turn some heads at the next race! Could also be useful putting a brick or 2 on there for training rides. Hope he keeps it just for fun.
