scooby15 Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 I experience that my hands sometimes slip on the bar ends, even though I wear gloves. What is the best solution for putting grips on the bar ends? Cuurently using Ritchey bar ends

These go for about R600-00 retail. Best bar-end grip on the market. Really comfortable. Don't let the weight-weenies get to you.

covie Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 i use ergon grips can never say that my hand has ever slipped, but then again i seldom use them, excpet when grinding up a climb.

They're so stickly if you walk past them they grab your pant or shirt and pull the bike over. I get them in the workshop all the time and they're a real pain, to the point where I put plastic bags over them. Hate hate hate.

V12man Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 Spray them with clear laquer and before it dries, sprinkle it lightly with sea sand, let it dry properly before you touch it. You may want to practice this before you do it on your bike - you have to get the amount of sand right....

no calves Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 half an esi grip with tubby glue! all my barends are done like that!! for the haters i suggest doing a transbaviaans, desert dash or a few 24h rides without barends.... the added position is a godsend V12man 1
