Team 360Life Suspension: David George busted

Who will give DG a ride...me thinks he has burnt too many bridges along the way. I think the time given is irrelevant, he is done!

I am willing to say that we might be surprised, I reckon people will be lining up.

It has become the South African way, today you are the biggest box on the planet, by the weekend we have forgotten about it, next week we need you to help us market our brand.

you would be surprised what the right marketing department can cook up, really turn this episode around and usually in the brands (new sponsor if it was) favour.

Straight up, if i was in a financial position i would love to sponsor him following bann time. Imagine the publicity for my brand, no such thing as BAD publicity.

But wouldn't you have had to make a few friends along the way...If it was KE or JR maybe...I just get the feeling he wasn't exactly mr popular to begin with...now with this cloud over his head and his ouderdom...I am sticking with hy is op soos out toast.

Dunno man...especially in light of lancy and the global economic situation. Look at Rabobank...no doubt the lance thing gave them a great excuse to pull the plug. Also why were his sponsers dropping like flies when the news broke...if your argument hold water, it would be best to ride the horse till it falls.

The way I see it bud, whether he is popular or not, people are so bloomin money hungry they will try all desperate measures, George will be one go those jugs they will keep a handle on.

I could be wrong, but history locally proves that ex-dopers can be very successful .

Same here...its just a gut feel and I really hope I am right. He moet maak soos n rokof

The old saying "the only way to kill a snake is to cut off its head".

For me, the 'head' in dirty cycling is not the riders. It's the suppliers. Get to them and cut off the supply. The nameless faces behind the riders need to be dragged kicking and screaming into the light.

One would think but there was a thread on that already which died a fairly quick death since the hub consensus seems to be that it futile/naive/notworhttheeffort/missing the point/and such like. whistling.gif

More dopers are getting a second chance than ever before. Nolan, Owen (all be it as a presenter), Alberto, the list goes on. I'd rate DG as twice the cyclist that Nolan is (doper or not), so lets see what happens.
