I (sadly) agree with you Dangle.

Yip make that two of us....as long as burry and suzie are riding the epic...KE will not win, doesn't mean that I don't like the guy, just the truth

Not going to be easy........With a stellar line-up of riders for 2013, the field will be the most competitive that the race has ever seen. Reigning world champion and overall World Cup winner Nino Schurter from Switzerland is due to compete, as are the other two riders standing on the podium at the 2012 world championships – the Fluckiger brothers, also from Switzerland. With the Olympic silver and bronze medallists confirmed as starters, it’s entirely possible that the race could also host Olympic gold medallist Jaroslav Kulhavy, provided that he doesn’t sign with a road racing team for 2013. Of course, defending champions Christoph Sauser and our own Burry Stander will be at the start, as well as a new-look Team Bulls. Six riders are signed up, lead by the record four-time winner Karl Platt with his new partner Urs Huber from Switzerland.

Okay so what hypothetical SA Team will win the Epic?

Max & Ben? Seems Burry is married to Sussie i.t.o. Epic, otherwise I would say Burry & Maxus.

got cut from the A-team....still in the bulls camp though.

Thanks for the info.

Also a decent dude. Just like Plattos. Had the privilege of riding with them at the Cycle Park last year.

I think Plattos was unimpressed with Sahm but it was always risky

Yea look sahmurai is a legend...but his performance has been up to scratch of late and I think karl knew that if he wanted to be a contender it was time to move on.

Sahm has been suffering from an injury too. Seem to think it was vein-related.

In SA I think Matthys is KE best bet for epic.

IMO Max and Ben-Melt (similar to George) go in to light weight and loose performance. Very scientific - I know :)

If KE WANT to win the Epic he should ask bra Julius or Usher too help him on their SS :)

Thats my bit of keyboard garbage for the day

Yea I would put that down as the main reason...he can't seem to shake it. It's defnitely not due to being slapgat. He was absolutely shattered after the prologue last year...that set the tone
