please dont spoil it for me who cannot afford a power meter, well atleast im comparing to guys who uses strava power.

Agreed its like getting on a scale.

So the scale said 70kgs but a expense cyclops scale my real weight it 65kgs. So from my old scale if MY goal is lose weight i repeat MYgoal i will do so and so by getting back on my old scale.

If strava says I'm pushing 100000kw en i was pushing 1W well then atleast my training is working!

OK, after reading this thread I'm caving. Heading off to register on Strava....

its the most fun.... my friends say i choose strava over them when i every so now and then go en chase a KOM

Click on the description(normally a date) of the ride in question. This will take you to the activity that resulted in the 'stolen'/false KOM. Flag this. Bottom right there is a "Flag This" button. Click, and tell your story. Not sure whether the comments gets sent to the "car driver", or whether Strava looks at it. I do suspect the first option though

OK i must be missing something here, i think i did everything you said here but i only ended up flagging the segment as hazardous is this correct, surely not?

No go into the ride of the KOM or the person you want to flag. He's actual ride is what you should flag and not the segment

Question, and partly related to the "strava assholes" or whatever they're called: do you use strava as your total training log book or only to try and beat other people on specific segments? The reason I ask is if you use it for the former, then obviously you'll upload everything, including races, which some say is wrong because you're riding in a peleton.

Interesting point. I had a PR on a fairly windy day, so there are a few conditions tipping the proverbial scales. If you're just out to beat other folks it could be discouraging. I guess beat the peleton times then you know you're an yster.

A whole lot of KOMs are on race routes and on the designated race dates, eg the Argus route segments.

Just check the dates on the spreadsheets.

Not really answering your question but it just reminded me when I was young and racing seriously I recorded everything in an excel spreadsheet. Was easy to look over my training see when I was going well. Used to colour code training rides, enter when I replaced equipment - the works. Had years o data... That's why I like Strava. It does it all for me because I'm lazy sod now.
