Raceface Cranks / SS cranks

Looking for a raceface crank or any other Single speed crank, second hand.

Are the raceface cranks only in the country through people bringing them in or is there an African dealer?

Any other crank suggestions? Am I on the right track, crank wise?

You don't need a SS specific crank at all.

 

However if you want something niche look at Paul Components

Use any crank. Bolt on a 32T chain ring. Most triple cranks will come with a 32T middle ring which you can use too. It may require you to shorten the chainring bolts. Double cranks work well in that you can use the intended chain ring bolts but will more than likely need to purchase a 32T chain ring.

My advice is to buy the single ring bolts. It's a pain in the ass to shorten bolts. Learnt that the hard way last week.

 

I.D bolts in a variety of colours are R150 for 5. Well worth the money.

 

The new 2013 SLX cranks are super sexy.

Preferably don't want to buy new, really like the raceface cranks though.

Is there noticeable difference performance wise between SS specific cranks and triples?

Anyone know prices on race face cranks, can't find them on Hulabaloo.
