I bought a pair of S Tracks on Friday and rode them Saturday and Sunday . They are a really nice solid platform to pedal on . I didn't use a shim and must admit it was difficult to unclip . Most of all I liked the fact that they are silent unlike my Shimano m520's . So far very happy

If its a replaceable part then they should be able to supply it, if cyclelab want to be difficult then i hope you find someone else who can get it.

Perhaps Mr LOOK could advise who will be able to supply the deflector, if he does not want to...

If the deflector breaks off . Does the spring/retention bar become nul and void ?

deflector holds the retention spring in place, so without it the pedals are useless.
