Update on the fork.

Bugger me it's awesome. That is all.

Their small bump sensitivity is just awesome hey? The only people who knock marzo are people who've never owned one. I still think that 888 I got from Maya is the best feeling fork I've ever had. The only let down was the weight.

Yeah man... i thought the extra 1.4kg on the front would be felt on the way down. Boy, was I wrong. That, or the fork is just SO GOOD that you don't notice the difference. Not once was my front end dragged down more than usual, and in fact it felt better balanced overall.

As I was telling Maya. Soooo stiff on the mid stroke while being soooo supple on the small stuff. Those 38 mm stanchions sure do help though.

My lyrik now has a yardstick to surpass. Will be playing around with it to see if I can get it to behave like that.

Now keep your eyes peeled for a 200mm coil so you can do the odd shuttle day and ride like Sorge. You'll be in competition with me tho cos I'm looking for one myself.

Did u ride Tokai? That last little bit on DH2 with that berm Duran and Reto built. You'll be able to just lay off the brakes and roll through that berm so super fast. And that jump onto the road will be super fun too.

Lol. I reckon I'll slam my angleset in first.

And yeah. Went to tokai but didn't smash the DH. Was riding with Mark and a couple of noobs so didn't do dh except for the big berm to the split.

the big berm to the split.

Ok. Did you see Vince has extended the berm out? The plan is to make it higher. He's also made a launch on the right. It's going to be a staunch gap. The landing isn't in yet so it's closed off It remains to be seen if that size gap will be allowed. I'm betting on no.

He he...

"The Adhoc and a tandem bike have a lot in common when you're on the subject of climbing tight trails, although that task might be easier aboard the tandem..."

On the other hand:

"This travel bracket is literally jammed full of bikes to pick from that can literally be ridden everywhere. Want to go to the bike park? No problem. All day man-ride with monster climbs? Sure thing. However, you might say that most 150mm bikes are decent at everything but awesome at nothing. But the Adhoc truly is awesome at something: hauling ass down scary trails."

Except in the 9.9, which has the 34 TALAS

EDIT: And a rather badly rendered mockup, by the looks of things. Could have done FAR better there, Trek!
