DJR Posted September 29, 2018 Share I don't disagree that this is beautiful, but (as beauty id in the eye of the beholder) I don't like the balance of a lot of the newest mountain bike racers. The short slammed stem and very low bars are just too low against the very long and high seat and seatpost. It makes the bike look unbalanced (fast, I suppose?). If you let the seat down to about a maximum of 5 cm higher than the bars, it will look graceful and balanced. Even just for the photo session.
