Why we be discussing waterbottles on Enduro page, everyone knows Water bottles or even worse bottle cages are un-cool... and enduro riding is all about being the coolest person in the woods. Big Hydration bags with straps for your full face is the only accepted method of conveying liquids, haha

I get too lazy to clean the bladder in my camelbak, so I just chuck a bottle on.

To do List: Teach my wife how to clean my Camelbak ..

Wow! The only thing I can crit (and I'm scratching here) is the bottle cage. Imagine riding through some human mud and then taking a tasty drink of water.

Can't imagine that it wil work well when things get technical . Mounted like that ? No I'll rather remove it if it was mine .

Just don't clean it, and only use water. My camelback is 5 years old, haven't cleaned it once, but only have water in it. Thinks the Chlorine content in our water is enough to kill of most things, haha

Was a bit of tongue in cheek .. I generally use my camelback, but the bottle cage is no problem. I rode all 3 days of Sani with a bottle in and never had a problem. I've also taken it down every trail at Giba and also never lost a bottle. The only issue with it is that it makes the bike look fugly. But hey, I don't shave my legs either ...

Appearance is not THAT important to me ; practicality is of more value in my book . If it works for you fine .

All I say is I don't think it will suit my riding style or terrain I choose to ride .

This is from less than 500m singletrack through my local greenbelt , yes that is mud . :) Imagine how that bottle will look mounted where it is on your bike . ;)

Hahaha. I can recognize that as somerset west/stellenbosch area mud. My bike looked similar to that after a week's riding in Jonkershoek after the recent rain. Berms were mistaken for dams

Ja. I put those little practice golf balls (the hollow ones) in my bladder to keep it open. But ja. Water only.
