OK so I could get it trimmed? Closest I get to bar spins is down at Peddlar's near closing time! But seriously, does anyone have any feedback on the bike.....I'm looking for something I can peddle uphill nicely and go down ST fast! Something I can take to France if I get the gap....(I know, I know, there's lifts in France but not here!)

That bike has a front derailleur... that makes it a XC bike in my books, haha. So if you want to, you can granny up hills, or you can do what the cool kids do, hike up, haha

Wish my bike could barspin, but massive shock on small frame, makes mine not clear down tube.

Dude, its a frikkin fantastic bike! Current owner probably built it up and didn't trim the cables / hoses. Easy job, and a bike well worth the tom.

I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I were in the market for a new sled. Easy to pedal up, but daaaaamn AWESOME on the way down. Don't let the burliness fool you into thinking it's only good on the downs.

Tx for that cpt.....you must be one of the cool guys hiking up DH2, ;) @ braailegend! One day, I'll join you okes, right now all I think about is hopping over that plank at the top of Vasbyt! After seeing someone get hung by his tights on a stump at FG the other night, I just want to know my next bike will survive a bashing!

Definitely.. but its more due to my extreme fitness... the lack thereof, haha

I'm cracking the scale at 103kg this morning. A whole 10kg up from December. Need to make a plan and quick!

LOL. Yeah, I feel ya dude. I'm 12kg up from 6 years ago. A slow, steady decline. Came back from London in the best shape of my life - strong, fit, fast-ish and so on. Then home-cooked meals, no bike commuting and a lack of after-hours gym started adding up.

I think we need to pedal more and push less. Lol
