Those of you in the know, who will be targeting Vuelta for the top step?

Nibali?

Conto?

J-Rod?

Valverde?

With Nibs being the favourite?

WANNA GO CHECK OUT THE TOUR LIKE CAPCHA, AZONIC AND A FEW OTHERS HAVE?

Best tip IMO, especially Prolog days where the 1st stage start (next day) is in the same town or close by

London and Monaco come to mind...

If you want to interact with the riders stage starts are better than stage finishes. You get to see the riders casually hang out around the start-line for an hour before their departure. If you’re lucky enough to know someone who can get you access to the “Village Tour de France” (the barricaded section that the team buses and riders are in), take advantage of it.

Contador wont be defending at Vuelta

Oh ok, guess I'll put my money on Nibali then. He should be well rested although Valverde will probably have the best support around him.

Awesome, Gnarly!

So, how fast is that peloton in real life on the Champs Elysees?

What I've found really impressive is the speed the team cars drive to keep up on some of the roads, especially these tight twisty euro roads with all the street furniture, all of this while often driving with one hand on the wheel, a load of bikes on the roof, arm and sometimes head out the window , one eye watching the TV (in the car) and listening to the race radio.....

Mind Blowing...... What an AWESOME experience.

Even more impressive is the speed they come up Mont Ventoux and Alpe D'Huez.

Don't tell anyone but I accidently hooked my flag on a bike on top of one of the team cars at top of Alpe D'Huez. :whistling:

And the speed of the caravan before the race comes through throwing the freebies out.
