hayleyearth Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 What time must I be on my coach to watch the complete stage? (I can't find the app)
LOOK695 Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Â Â He's not a slouch uphill, but also not a contender. Doubt he'll keep yellow after today.Would have been nice if he were able to give a show like Voeckler. Even if and when he looses yellow, it is fantastic to have a local boy doing so well. Need to develope a super climber and have him compete with the best in the world

'Dale Posted July 6, 2013 Author Posted July 6, 2013 I am interested to see how Andy's form is at the moment. The two P's have been going out of their way to talk him up so that should be interesting. I was impressed with Cannondale yesterday, its seldom one sees such single mindedness in a team without GC ambitions towards a goal and their tactics were great, shelling the sprinters put everything in their favor and they capitalized superbly, it was a great stage to watch. I'm glad that Cannondale Pro Cycling's racing did not have you slumber in your chair, GOG.It is really scintillating to see the fight for Green so intensified. GO SAGAN http://cdn.velonews.competitor.com/files/2013/07/cannondale-lead-613x440.jpg

'Dale Posted July 6, 2013 Author Posted July 6, 2013 (edited) The Bubblegum Award for Garmin's team time trial outfits. Described as sweet by one 11-year-old who knows about shiny things. The Jens Voigt Award goes to Cyril Gautier of Europcar for the same wobbly front wheel style and intention to hurt himself as much as possible. The Joker Award to Jan Bakelants for his cheery interviews and general happiness. The Invisible Man prize is awarded to Damiano Cunego, if he hadn't punctured on the sixth stage and then complained bitterly no one would have even known he was there. The Journey (Don't Stop Believing) Award to Cannondale for their unrelenting love of all things Sagan. And last but not least the Bike of the Week is RadioShack's glorious light blue Trek Madone 7. Robert Millar http://cdn.media.cyclingnews.com//2013/06/21/1/000_arp1585636_220.jpg Edited July 6, 2013 by ' Dale
Bos Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 So, What are your predictions for the stage wins?Let me put my predictions out there and be proven wrong at the end of the "show" I think some climbers without a GC hope might try get away over the HC col de Pailheres for a stage victory. I think the big cats will be busy playing mind games with each other and let the "no threats go". However, I think Sky will drive a furious pace like Cannondale did yesterday to try and blow up as many riders they can which might make it near impossible to attack on the climbs..Dont be surprised if one or two of the big guns dont fire properly today either, sometimes it takes the guys a while to find their climbing legs and Ive seen Cuddles for an example get in a bit of a bother on early mountain stages. Berto must be the most unpredictable rider in the pack, but I can not see him attacking the way he did on the first mountain stage in the Vuelta Espana this early in the tour. however on the Domaines the guys will start testing each other for sure..Chris Froome has also been agressive and he might very well go for it with Porte and put Berto on the back foot.. Oh how I love this!! Viva le Tour!

Viva le Tour! Interesting call, Bos. With Sunday's stage of 4 x CAT 1 climbs, I reckon this is gonna be an interesting stage on the GC front. Some attacking riders like Purito and 'Berto might test their legs and see what 'sensations' they have. Also attack some to see what their opponents' strategy is. BMC has to take all the initiative as they are seriously behind with Cadel's (and Tejay's) chances to hit the podium in Paris. Team Sky will aspire to do what they do best - snuff out any attacks with their 400 watt tempo up the gradients.HMMMMTOMORROW. DON'T BLINK.

Bainskloof Pass too.Helz is something like a CAT 3. SyncSA 1
