Problem is I spend one day a weekend being hungover which means zero training.

Gonna have to change that

I found a solution for that - Phuza Thursdays and just being hung over at work, on someone else's time ...

But on a serious note I try and see mates in the week for a quick beer ect and avoid the heavy weekend sessions

I do around 250 km riding - 8 hours

40 km running - 3.5 hours or so

6 km swimming 1.5 hours

45 mins strength and conditioning

Sometimes a bit more, sometimes a bit less, but will ramp up the distances over the next two months until I have a decent base

Did anybody else also just go "   "

6km swimming in 1.5!!!

Basically everything

Spinning is great way to get your riding strength up without taking too much time.

My Wed 90min spin class is as good training as a 3hr ride.

I was also shocked .... I would never admit I was that slow on a public forum

Not sure if anybody posted this but here is the lakefarm climb including the downhill and then the few drags afterwards. It is marked between the two black lines.

I've made a strategic decsision to ignore any future posts detailing current trianing hours and distances!

Eish. Thought I was doing ok, suddenly feeling very under-done!!

Just as you should ignore other peoples pace on the day - stick to your plan!

I did 18 hours this weekend, three swims of 4 km each, 75 km in 5 hours of running and 400 km in 10 hours of cycling, am feeling really guilty that I had to cut my training short

You mean 'week' or 'weekend' - if it was this weekend (holy sh*t!), I think you have entered the wrong event, you should rather be doing Ultraman or Enduroman...
