have just received a shipment of tail lights from my suppliers :D .

seeing that there have been quite a few threads of late about silly people riding bikes on roads in the dark with no lights, I thought these would be a good thing to sell

have been using one myself for the last 4 months and am super impressed, charge lasts forever and when it finally goes flat no need to run to the shops or search of batteries, just simply stick the light on the charger.

the lane lasers would also be pretty cool for critical mass night rides, or night rides in general

check out my website for those interested, asking price is only R249 :w00t:

Now there is an idea, create your own 1.5m gap or cycling lanes

Patent it, quickly!

I wish the idea was mine lol, one of the reasons I like these lights,

battery life?

Edit:

dont want anyone to read possible false facts

have just finished a battery test myself run times are as follows:

Constant, LED's + Laser = 8 hours

Constant LED's only = 12 hours

LED flashing mode = 30 hours (manufacturer had a bit of a translation error via e-mail)

Can the laser and LED shine at the same time and what's the battery life if used like that?

Brilliant looking light

as answered for Wayne, manufacturer told me 30 hours on constant, they come with a nice 1000mAh Li-ion battery

please see previous post regarding battery life

Can that be fitted on an aero seat post? (TCR)

to be quite honest I don't think so. unless the post has a round portion to it somewhere? the round part of the clamp is hard plastic has a internal diameter of 32mm, see above pictures

Maybe post a actual pic? Would like to see how the light/laser work in real life.

We invest in massive headlights for our bikes but not tail lights. Why? When someone drives you over it will probably be from the back. Why not then get a big ass lumen tail light as well? Going to make it impossible for the cars to NOT see me.

Can you also do a battery test?

I recently bought a lekker back light.

Charged it for ages, halfway through a ride it died.

MNFR claimed 20 hours, so I am a little bit untrusting of manufacturers claims right now :)

Would appreciate your feedback.
