(He finished 4:14 down on Martin). Deliberate ploy to give himself enough wiggle room in the last 3 stages for an attempt at a breakaway stage win? What's the bet we also see a 'poor' time from Rolland as well today? Europcar are savvy tacticians, I wouldn't put it past them that this was their thinking going into todays TT. At least 3 days in yellow so far, and if they lose the jersey today, at least they've set up Tommy and Phillipe for possible individual glory in the last 3 stages.
