Will see if the price drops a bit on release on the Xbox One.

It looks like an awesome game though

Yup. A dual GTX 1080 Ti rig would be very good, but pricey for now. Damn the bloody miners that keep on pushing up the demand for high end GPUs.

Or the new Titan V :)

I'm loving the new Assassin's Creed Origins - more RPG than before. Don't really dig the way the climbing has changed (last played Black Flag), but I reckon for the other new goodies it's a good tradeof.

Anyone else on PS4?

And anyone know what happened to Kalahari? Haven't seen/heard in ages.

Vegmot? He commented on my other thread yesterday.

No, the original 'Kalahari/Latent' personalities. Or has he morphed (again) into someone else?

The Dr. from Durban. He has been quite for a long time. Edited by Pieter1

Started playing dota last night. It's super hard to bridge over from league.

The team aspect of the game is so much more important than in lol.

Should be a fun learning curve

I love league, it's super fun to play. The community is just a bit toxic though... Super salty

It's the same with CS:GO we watched the finals and guys go crazy for that game

I think more adults play Dota..probably why the League of Legends community is a bit off...kids getting worked up[emoji6]

I also do League. As do my boys. Love it.

My boys also played DOTA, but they recon the champs are not balanced.

Welcome to the dark side. However once the bug bites it eats massive chunks of time!! I try limit myself to about 5 games a week, with the new Turbo mode it does make it a bit easier to manage a game a day without my SO shooting me.

As for the learning curve, once you understand the basics it goes a lot quicker.

I think you're right here. I have been playing Dota (first 1 now 2) since about 2005, and from what I can tell many of the guys still playing are the same guys who played back then. Meaning that the majority of the players have grown up and are past the "I screwed your mom" phase.
