Last race I seeded in J batch for the 40km - did 2h10min and now I'm in batch C, I LOVE YOU SA SEEDING

Think its fair enough?

Ja for sure! If you can keep to C batch avg then you deserve to be there

Anyone have an idea of how the marathon batch breakdown looks with regards to your seeding? It used to be something like:

1 - 19 = A

20 - 29 = B

30 - 39 = C

40 - 49 = D

50 - 59 = E

60 - 69 = F

70 - 80 = G

My seeding is 43 and I'm in F. Seems like it has changed significantly.

Sounds about right, I'm at 52 and in E. Chat to the registration okes when you collect numbers and have it sorted!

From all the replies I'm assuming it's right. My one mate starts in E on a 40 and my other mate in C on a 31.

Last year I started most races in C from a similar seeding.

So obviously the number of riders in the 30s and 40s increased quite a bit.

Bargain

Hahaha. Nice try, but won't you get DQ if you start in a lower batch.

SAS, I dont get it!!!

Was on some website this morning about the seeding indexes and sent them a mail.

For the life of me i cannot remember which website but about one hour later got a e-mail for my wife's seeding.

This is her first ride ever. Never asked for her to be added onto the seeding system but did so for me. I entered my son the same time in the 10km fun ride but no e-mail.

10km fun ride with a seeding of 100. Even group B is mentioned.

SAS seeding number removed by me.
