Holidays started today, so decided to fix up my dad old bike. Just replaced the old tubes with new ones, the rest is stock. Added some lube to wheels and chain. And away she goes. Still looking for a front break though.... Not planning on changing anything, the little rust gives it character.

Enough talk, some pics:

What a classic! I can actually still remember when bicycles had to be licensed!

And when the speedkops used to come and check your license while the bikes are all parked in the school bicycle shed...do they even build schools nowadays with bicycle sheds?

aaaaaa, school bike sheds ....

I used to leave my bike unlocked....

After school finished school, went back to the shed, and there she was ....

Cool bike.

I didn't know about the licensing requirements. Always learning. Sometimes useful, other times just interesting.

I had mine stolen from the school bike shed while locked. Must have been around 2000, the not so good recent days. Had to walk home for months
