Groupset Red or Dura Ace

Was riding DA7900 and loved it..

Switched over to Campagnolo Super Record and even bigger smiles..

In my opinion:

Performance= Shimano Dura Ace

Looks+ Weight= SRAM RED

Performance+Looks+ Weight= Campagnolo Super record :whistling:

How does the new SRAM Red 22 perform?

Any advice would be appreciated.

I also noticed that SRAM had a steady decline in number of PRO teams using their components. Any particular reason for that?

I think only OPQS, Saxobank, Cannondale..

SRAM on my Roadbike-Love it

DA on my Tri Bike, love it, the quiet shifting is great.

Sram for weight, makes a racket when shifting but love the actuation.

DA will last and not give u any crap. So if I had to choose it would be Sram on my Road Bike.

Used Dura Ace , then Sram very happy with both. Now on DI2 - its the ultimate in smoothness and precision.

haven't used dura ace, sram or campagnola

But I'd go for SRAM red or Campag record purely based on looks. There's just something about the shimano cranks I don't like.

Newest SRAM rocks

Dura-Ace steady and dependable

Close your eyes and pick blindly - both solid choices

If you do get Dura Ace get a 7900 crank to go with the 9000 groupset.

I just can not get used to 9000's look.

But if your'e into that kind of thing, ignore the above.

I don't think the Pro teams have a choice besides Astana. Nibali insisted on Campagnolo. I personally switched from Dura Ace 7900 which was flawless to Super Record. Campagnolo is simply amazing. Whatever your choice, it would be good.

SRAM's marketing budget.

Pro teams ride what they are paid to ride......Shimano simply has more money to buy their way into the peleton

I ride the newest SRAM RED. I love it --- but --- if I could do it again, I'd go Di2.
