Me too Jax, that was by far the toughest thing I've ever done.

But it looks like we might have a dry run this year (like in 2010)

2010 was actually a little too dry for my liking, I think we got feet wet only once!

Last year was great fun with all the crossings and I think the cold water did wonders for the legs.

Still my goal to go down that hill in daylight! Maybe next year

We did it at night last year - what a blast!!

There's a nasty right turn right near the top - we saw skid marks all the way to the edge..... was figuring - if that's the back wheel - how much over the edge was the front wheel!

When we got to the bottom, we looked up - the sky was black, and the mountain was black. But there was this tiny light - looked like a star... but it was screaming "yyyyeeeeeaaaahhhhaaa" - must have been a rider enjoying it like we did.

An experience I'll never forget.

Haha, brilliant. I know exactly what turn you are talking about. The Baviaans got me hooked from my first year I did it and that was the Langs Baviaans. Last year was my second and going for my third. Trained a lot less then previous years but still can't wait to take on this race / adventure again and again

Lyk my die weer gaan mooi hou, "droe" TB!!
