Voeckler has zero chance of winning on Ventoux...... brave he is, but a good enough climber he isn't .... remember 2010 & 2011

Quintana is the man to beat.

The way he burnt off Voeckler a few days ago - yoh

Agreed, if I were a betting man, provided he doesnt have to sacrifice himself for Valverde, he'll be hard to beat up there.

I wonder if Mandy Schleck won't have a go at a stage victory in the alps, he's actually not looking bad, might be hiding better form then he has shown so far....?

Picked Andy as my dark horse for the Tour, his form has been muck all year... but he's not looking bad and if he peaks in the last week and is not a threat on GC, he could get me some lekker points

That is true, but he will try.

With it being Bastille day on Sunday and all.

I still back Contador for Ventoux

He will try, that is for sure!

Contador is a good pick too.... a 3 way duel....? Contador vs Schleck vs Quintana....?

TJ 18" behind Martin at 1st split...

2nd split 1'40"... doesn't look like I am getting points off him today...

What about Rolland on Sunday? (yes I picked him and not Voeckler)

Also possible, but he is quite focused on getting intermediate points to lock down the polkadot jersey.... if he has the jersey in the bag before Ventoux, then ja, I guess you right, he probably will have a go too..... a 4 way duel...... Contador, Mandy, Quintana and Rolland.....

and of course Froome will have to be up there. Can't give away too much time with so much racing to come.

It'd be nice to see some of the previously touted top 10 candidates to give it a tonk because they've lost so much time and aren't a threat... I was going to say TJ but looking at his finish time there he's doing a great job of not living up to expectation!

Just reviewed my team:

> One of my surprize packages, Fredrick Kessiakoff of Astana, withdrew on Stage 6 already. Didn't even realize.

> Thought I had Chavanel. I never did.

> Chose Dan Martin. Forgot about that. Good choice, in hindsight.

tips sent but I'm feeling nervous about the guys I left out.

- Costa

- Quintana

- Griepel

- Roche

I know one of those is going to come back and haunt me.

Quintana is prob the one haunting you, eh, hellocolour?

Voeckler will try Ventoux Sunday no doubt.

Only problem is everyone has 42 hubbers have him on their team..

Fixed
