Jeepdude Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 in high school my mom would not let me sell my BMX to buy a Road bike... then it got stolen..GMMMMF.
Ed-Zulu Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Started with a green Raleigh 24' racer...I was in std.1...it took me everywhere. Viljoensdrift to the Vaaldam and back more times than I can remember... I used to wheelie it, bunny hop it (that's how cyclo-cross started in Europe, a Hollander saw me do it) and it even had a speedo and siren on at one stage. I fell off it more than a dozen times and by the time I reached std5 the damage was done... I still consider a week without riding somewhat wasted Warren_G and Wayne Potgieter 2
chris_w_65 Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Started with a brand new red Peugeot Mirage - first bike at school with quick release wheels so I had to check them every day before I rode home. Joe Low, Tumbleweed, Ed-Zulu and 1 other 4
Warren_G Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Riding to school on awesome summer mornings I wouldn't want to arrive at school, just wanted to continue riding it was so awesome. Even riding back from rugby practice in the rain with tog bag and school bag full of books strapped to my back I just loved it. Fond memories Ed-Zulu, Tumbleweed and Lucky Luke. 3
