I found a bike on the road that had obviousely fallen off a car rack yesterday (Fri).

It should have a serial number on it - thanks for going to the trouble to post the bike! maybe give Specialized SA a call on Monday (if it hasn't been claimed) and maybe they can trace the owner.

place it was found, road and direction might help locate the owner a bit. Shew! how do you not notice your bike missing..i keep on looking back every so often just to make sure its still there. Well done on picking it up before it was "shopped" by someone

I'm sure the OP would gladly hand it back if you can provide the bike's serial number, other characteristics and where your gardener was driving whilst you were taking a nap.

Cool . Glad to have found the owner - To be 100% sure - There is another tell tale thingy on the bike cable tied on - v personal and what was in the saddle bag

Ps - your tyre pressures are waaay too high - even for the road
