Yeah how can someone not know their bike is missing? Maybe it was stolen and then abandoned? Hope the owner is ok.

I'd say if you still don't have any response sell it if you don't want it, keep the cash or donate it to a charity of your choice, or donate the bike to one of those charities that give bikes to the under privileged.

Maybe the Choc Cows can use it as one of their bike rental bikes for fund raising.

You need to give this more time for the owner to come back to you before considering a sale or otherwise. Not everyone is on the hub or vleisboek.

Surely specialized should know the serial number and which specialized dealership sold the bike? Then hopefully the dealer recognizes the bike and knows the owner :/ maybe...
