May I please rant? Somebody goes to the trouble of posting something serious and gets all these stupid comments. That's the problem with forums, if you got nothing intelligent to say, then move on to the next topic.

Steve - those stupid comments at least keep the post current and hopefully won't be missed by the real owner.

Yeah how can someone not know their bike is missing? Maybe it was stolen and then abandoned? Hope the owner is ok.

I'd say if you still don't have any response sell it if you don't want it, keep the cash or donate it to a charity of your choice, or donate the bike to one of those charities that give bikes to the under privileged.

Maybe the Choc Cows can use it as one of their bike rental bikes for fund raising.

You need to give this more time for the owner to come back to you before considering a sale or otherwise. Not everyone is on the hub or vleisboek.

Which is exactly why I'm adding my stupid comment as well. A high post count is, of course, just a by -product and nothing more. ;)
