I must add however that i noticed many bikes / gear / stuff etc just left unattended for anyone to walk pass and help themselves. Guess you can forgive people for thinking they are in a secure and happy environment and no one will scratch in your stuff, unfortunately this is Africa and there will always be some "dwaas" ruining it for everyone else!!

We went in a mate's 4.0 Petrol but they didnt target that. The biggest problem is what to get but a Toyota? Amarok still has some teething ahead and I can't get a Ranger because I hate Nicholas Louw, Kurt Daren and all the other poefters. If only Datsun made a comeback...

Lastly, watch out who you call what where.It may just blow up in your face.

PS. my wife drives a Tuareg -,don't call her a poofter (or anything else) she might play you some classical music (try to label that!)

bongo1 Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Went for the weekend and camped at Sondela. Rode the 40 and 60km, awesome trails. Will not be back unless the theft issue is sorted out. Know of 4 bikes, 3 cars that were knicked.They also stole camping equipment from our campsite, including my favourite slip-slops.

Sad to hear about the crime though and hopefully they can resolve this.
