That is the point I wanted to get across

Ride it and see

Unfortunately your post came across very much in the manner of an advertorial.

Please can you clarify some of my questions.

Nope, the point you wanted to get across is that you are an independent consumer who just happened to join a cycling forum to shamelessly plug a product you clearly have some interest in as a first post.

We may be in Africa, but we are not so easily fooled.

Give Admin a call and buy some advertising space.

if it gave an amazing advantage there would be some teams running them .... the pro's do want to win after all!

Yip and not everything is sponsorship driven.

The truth of the matter however, the pro's are much less image driven than the average man on the street.

Most of them just want $%& that works .

I really enjoyed the Lauf I tested. Small pump compliance is amazing - better than the Lefty which I consider the benchmark.

The ride takes some getting used to because of the lack of damping but its not as pogolike as you would imagine. More a "wavey" ride.

I reckon its the perfect choice for "dirt roadie" type race - personally I would not use it for anything remotely gnarly.

Like all other products it has its niche.

Even if it has been predicted that in the future "it might replace all current fork technology"

Don't throw the baby out with the bath water. Just because 1 over zealous laufer waxed lyrical about the fork doesn't mean we should write it off in totality.

Read carefully what I said earlier, they look damn fine in the flesh.

I would not mind for one on my Ritchey actually .

My bad - it looks like this thread has been heavily "adminned" - it doesn't read very well...

@hairy - I'd happily run a lauf on any bike park in jhb. When I say gnarly I mean the more technical "cape" style single track. I reckon its the perfect fork for Joberg2c, epic etc.

#NOTENDURO

I like forks that I can fiddle with, I like turning dials and feeling the sweet subtle clicks of adjustments.

Nonetheless, I admire the innovation. Very cool concept.
