M L Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Not a specialized fan boy at all, but their entry level range of almost everything gives superb value for money. Tried their shoes, saddles and as of late their helmet and I can't see why I won't buy them again if I have to.

BergForce Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Those R1000 Spez shoes are terrible, I have a pair and they just feel very loose. I also use some cheap Sidi shoes that I got for R750. My Sidis are much better quality than my Spez shoes, or at least they feel solid around my feet. I would go for the Giro if I had to choose between the OPs 2 choices.
