Capricorn Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 yeah, amazing lines by Remi. While i'm super stoked for the lad.. i'm deliriously happy with Sam Hill. the man is almost back up to full speed!!! the way he 'pomped' those step downs in the last bit of the track was superb!

Or was Remi's run just that amazing? i think so - and it looks like it was all on that section from the 2nd split to the end as both Sam and Gee were faster at that split and greg was only 0.6 sec off....that last line of his was unreal especially if you go look at the course walk videos and see how insanely steep that bit is Behan 1

The boy was on the gas hard out of every corner right up until the next one, while everyone seemed to hit cruise mode. I think the way Hill hit the last few steps was insane. He just destroyed it. The man can take much confidence from today. his mission was to climb the podium with each passing race, and he is achieving it in spectacular fashion. Yes, I'm a huge Sam Hill fan Behan 1

Yes, Remi did take some seriously impressive lines, and yes, Sam did smash that steep section, riding it as if it was flat and filled with bomb holes. But according to the splits, Gee was up everywhere. Maybe that bobble near the bottom lost him the 2.2-odd seconds he had built up in splits 1 & 2. Also, he took a very cautious approach when he approached the speed trap, clocking in in 52nd position. But lets put something into perspective for Hill in particular: He was only 17th at split one, but by split 2, he was 2nd To me, that's the kraken inside getting unleashed after a tentative start. Its coming... the Sam Hill legend is made of: he is coming. Good lord its about time. #OnTheF'ingHunt! AroGwint.. loving the punting of harmony in team spesh. Being so flippant about alles. Seriously w/e. Props to Brosnan for also making steady gains after two huge ass stacks last year.

Like it's such a hardship for a company as loaded as $pecialized to not go test in Euroland. LOads of teams went to italy and spain for testing. By that logic, he should dominate at the round in the USA. But conveniently, nothing's scheduled for this year. *smh* any one have news on Cam Cole? The giraffe had the most horric stack i've seen in a long time. The way his body just ragdolled down that hill. omg.. *shudder*

It's like not all the cameras were lined up for the live feed, but came into play during replays.
