interesting comment made about how it can be 'expected' to have data acquisition running for every WC race now during practice. Track specific tuning, at world cup level? oh **** yes. and i quote "... trek can keep its hot box.." :P

ok got to see the final guys runs - Remi's run was insane ... he tore that bottom section apart like a piece of toilet paper in a shredder ...

Looking at his pace vs Mr Minn and Gee and them ... they didnt stand a chance .... and as for that line he took into the bottom cliff drop ... WELL ... talk about just going straight ... not even Hill could manage it ...

What a run!

My stomach actually turned a bit watching Remi's run. He basically free-fell 70% of the course.

Remi's been promising some insane stuff in the past two races this year. That huck at vds was just mental. i think someone over at VitalMTB named that section of track after him.

damn, loving the preciseness of the data logging setup, and the collab between the makers of the frames and suspension.

http://lp3.pinkbike.org/p1pb6168857/p1pb6168857.jpg After the first day of data logging, Arthur the Bos technician realised they were going to need a larger air volume in the rear. A quick call to the factory in Toulouse and one late night shift for an engineer later new air cans were with the team.

http://lp3.pinkbike.org/p1pb6168857/p1pb6168857.jpg Production versions of these bikes come with a solid brace there, but at the request of Bos the race bikes are machined out to give the bikes a bit more flex in the rear end.

rest over here
