Couldn't agree more.

Gone are the days when everyone thought the day that Rossi leaves, is the day that MotoGP dies.

Not sure "everyone" really said that, or is that just something the Rossi haters make up?

He been around for 20 years, all things pass. Gone are the days of Kenny, Doohan, Agostini....

Why not rather appreciate what he has done for MotoGP over the last 2 decades.

You dont need to like him to respect what he has achieved.

Well that was a pretty impressive ride by VR46...he shoud start at the back more often.

If they were riding bicycles we'd all be screaming test them test them...

Yeah I gotta give it to the old dog, he was exceptional on Sunday. I too will now concede that he is a Sunday man. Cal was also on a different level. The moment Rossi turned up the heat he responded by opening the gap. Marc, ai.

As for Jorge, read this: http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/motogp/saturday-phillip-island-australian-gp-motogp-summary-2016/

At least MM don't make excuses .

I had a second helping of humble pie , gladly served by Cal Crutchlow .... proved me wrong he did .

VR46 is definitely a Sunday man .

Vinales is special and JL can only dream of his December holiday .....

Bradical Binder showed them who is BOSS !!!!!

First thing I giggled about was that the factory team must now feel a bit sheepish having opted for a semi-retired guy instead of promoting... oh, the race winner on a non-works bike!

To add to that - I was watching the first couple of laps of MotoGP and had to TEAR myself away from the screen shortly after the MM crash to leave in time for training and be back for another engagement... the evening I watched F1 and mercifully fell asleep, only to wake up on the last laps.

It is ironic but I think LC would have had something to say...

Isn't that how everyone watches F1? Start - sleep - wake - last two laps.

Cal's 2 wins vs his 74 crashes.... Dont think the Factories are losing too much sleep.

If he starts becoming consistant, they will sign him.

While I do agree about the crash vs win ratio... note that even before this weekend I think only one or two guys scored more points in the last 6 races than him. (Incredible little stat, I nearly fell over when I heard that!) So obviously he is in some sort of form.

Not talking about signing him - he was widely mentioned (because of the mentioned form)  as the logical rider to step up in DP's place for the couple of races remaining in the season.

LC would only have had that much to say - he can't distance himself too much from his supplier. And conversely by doing them a favour... you never know how much good it will do the relationship and "repayment" for such a favour will in all likelihood be very worthwhile.

But that's just the view from my room in the madhouse...

"To put that in some kind of context, since the Sachsenring, Marc Márquez has scored 128 points, Valentino Rossi has scored 113 points, Jorge Lorenzo has scored 71 points, and Cal Crutchlow has scored 121 points."

Back to the gravel trap, with Marc, Iannone, A. Espargaro and almost everyone else. Hectic Hector bagged a 4th on a 2014 Ducati.

Marquez did remount and recover from 16th to 11th though.

The other 2 had DNF's, Iannone was looking good but then lost the plot. I think Ducati were justified in keeping Dovi, he proved that t least. Lets not forget, this should have been win number 2 as he should've won Argentina if it wasn't for The Maniac.

Baz also got a 5th on the GP14 Duke, that machine always did like the wet.

I am impressed by the Aprilia's, and Bautista. He really got shafted by being shuffled out that team. He deserved better.
