I dont pray, but I think its because he is a drama queen that craves attention, who even though he has the biggest fan base in MotoGP history, is so addicted to growing this fan base, that he and the doctors are willing to risk his entire 20 year reputation, to maybe gain a few more supporters through theatrics in the twilight years of his career. That does seem more plausible than the scenario where people simply dislike him, can't see through that and cannot give credit when its due.

Is that fact, or just your opinion?

and the fact that even though it may have been a displaced fracture, the extent of the displacement is not known. Could be 1mm, could be 10. And how it's just 9 (?) days fewer than his return from a truly ATROCIOUS displaced fracture a few years ago, which pierced skin.

Oh - and how others race with broken collarbones, feet etc but it's always an example of their bravery and dedication to the cause.

No, it must be because he's a drama queen.

Precisely, its the same, when Froome wins its because he is cheating when Contador wins its because he have bravery and panache.

We are masters of our own perceptions but its easier to move the responsibility onto others....

Be it as it may, VR46 is at the end of his career, but still able to compete with guys almost half his age, one of them undoubtably the biggest raw talent EVER, and one of the best bike handlers ever seen. That alone says a lot of the man, he still has the drive and will to win.

However, I would have loved to see MM93 and Casey Stoner go wheel to wheel, week after week. That would have been a spectacle to behold.

MM would beat Stoner hands down, then Stoner would have a moan about how dirty and dangerous MM rides and retire again in a huff and storm out of the pitlane while Adriana rides along on his dragging bottom lip like a dog sled.

The beginning of MM93's MotoGP career he was dangerous, but these days he does all his falling and dangerous riding during the practice and qualifying laps. Come race day, he is as sharp as a minora blade, and actually showing some patience in waiting for the right opportunity to overtake. A few seasons back, he just barged past, bugger the consequences.

But ja, Stoner was a bit of a whiner when things did not go his way, and with MM93, it will definitely not be smooth sailing all around.

Starting to sound like a MM93 fanboy now.....  :whistling:

Just to show my allegiance again, VALE    VALE   VALE  !!!!

Absolutely, I don't think MM is dangerous. Rubbin is racin. Stoner didn't like losing, and like Mick Doohan was unable to admit when somebody else was faster and would moan instead.

MM is maturing, and I happy to see that, I think he and MV are going to be the next Rainey vs Scwhantz

yeah, he's matured a LOT over the last few months. His racecraft is now rivalling Rossi's, and the old coot still has quite a bit to teach him but he's learning farking fast.

I think the biggest difference is that he's learnt that it's not an all out sprint, like it was in Moto 3 & moto 2. Bikes are bigger, tyre performance is more critical and patience is rewarded.

IMO Rossi at his peak was still "better" ito race-craft, but I don't think it'll be long before MM is on that level.

MV & MM will be epic competitors IMO.

To me its funny how the armchair and internet seem to encourage binary comment. I think its worth noting that the much derided Lorenzo (3rd) and Pedrosa (2nd) managed pretty well on Sunday. Pedrosa may have caught and passed MM based on pace (but if my dog hadn't stopped for a wee he would have caught the rabbit).  VR was also astonishing, although it seems Pedrosa may have had a grumble or two when he passed the ballie  Would VR have passed a dope test?

MM is for sure brave and outrageously talented or vice versa as regards the outrageous. Would he comfortably smoke Stoner? - I'm not so sure, Stoner is regarded as one of the quicker racers by plenty of seemingly well-informed commentators (and racers). As for moaning; I still hear Kenny Roberts "moaning" about how dangerous his 750 2 stroke was.

Bottom line - I'm always mightily impressed by how brave then delicate and brutal top level racers have to be, just to be competitive, let alone win.

Agreed, mazambaan - Pedrosa was awesome. Great to see him getting results more consistently, now. His light frame certainly doesn't suit the honda in all circumstances, but from what I've seen he must have found a formula that suits him and the big orange / blue / red machine.

Lorenzo - standard get out ahead and try to blast the course with everyone behind. The Duc is FAST, make no mistake, but that's his only trick... I think the others are better racers, pure and simple.

Crashlow really needs to go, though. How many times must he lay that thing down before he gets the boot?

Like I said, I haven't watched yet, was trying to keep up on Twitter.

Which part, you are welcome to disagree with me, but please correct me if I am wrong.

All of it, think its a bit of a far fetched conspiracy theory and a load of shyte. Not even JL would fake an injury to gain supporters.
