As with most dual suspension frames, there is only one place for a bottle cage. So, I tried the seatpost cage attached to seapost with the KCNC bolts.

I have tried quite a lot of different bottlecages, but none of them seem to be able to keep any bottles inside, they all bump out. I do use the smaller bottle.

Any suggestion? The same cage holds the larger bottle easy in the front.

ooh hell wait, we have great ones on our seatpost, and you can take my word for it the bottle does not come out, this I saw first hand when my hubby went over the handlebars, he lost everything in his pocket but the bottle was still secured.

Now this all would help if I knew what bottlecage is was hey..

I use the Specialized bottle cages at the moment. Never lost a bottle with them, but they only last about 3 months. I am also searching for a more durable option at the moment.

The profile design cage is not the prettiest, but it is the only one that has worked for me. It has an elastic band around the outside witch helps a lot. I have tried 5 other cages and all of them lost bottels.

That's it, that's the one, it really is great, can be tricky to get it out while on the move, but you wont lose your bottle

I really should start paying closer attention to the things hubby puts on my bike hey

I had the problem on my road bike - solved it with Specialized Ribcages

Another problem I had was with the bottle cages tilting back on the pivot of the cage holder even with the adjustment pivot bolts tightened well. I solved this with some Pratley glue

How durable are these Keithc. The design on the Spez cages are very similar, but like I said, I have broken 2 of them in the past 10 months.

I like these too, ugly but really secure.

Regular heavy duty alloy cage is fine, not one with flimsy construction. Roll a few layers of electrical tape around the seatpost so that it doesn't scratch, then cable-tie the bottlecage on. Two big ties at the top and bottom. Mine doesn't move.

I use the specialized ones. They are nice and stiff when new. Have used them for 2 years. But broke one when I crashed and hit it with my knee. But no problems otherwise

But also, some bottle shapes fit better than the others with the specialized
