G e r h a r d Odendaal Posted March 17, 2014 Share Burry took himself overseas. I just hope Max hasn't left it too late. Good luck to him. No bridges burnt. Specialized seem like a very decent team. Make your country proud I say. I think Max is sponsored by Ghost now...
G e r h a r d Odendaal Posted March 17, 2014 Share hope he can make it, doing well internationally in XCO is the pinnacle of the sport in terms of non gravity events, marathon still just seems a bridge for roadies to get off road and for older riders to reap a few more years in their careers. props also to guys like james reid who continue banging on trying to get results in XCO when he could probably land a cushy deal racing the local marathon scene..... We as SA are going to lose all our good riders, pity the the Govt gives a crap about cycling. Those foreign guys are fast and if you ride with them they lift your game.
