R.I.P. sad news

"Apparently the guy had an epileptic fit and and they brought him down to the main road but the paramedics could unfortunately not get him resuscitated"

Hi all. It was confirmed this week...Werner had a heart attack..Such an sad event...As a church we will miss him dearly....Tiaan

Could be any of us. RIP. Clearly sad for the family and friends - but as cyclist: the perfect way to go?

I don't know who it is but condolences to the family.

 

Please do not start of to hard after winter lay -off.

Such a harrowing account on that link from the guys who came accross him and tried to help. Werner was a 38yr old fit cyclist. Just shows it can happen to anyone.

 

Like someone said above, more of us should brush up on CPR. It seems in this case the people around him did all they good including performing CPR until they got him to paramedics, so it was just his time. RIP
