How crap is this comment?

Andy Waterman@andywaterman7h

If you're upset about the scoring at Rampage, remember, it's a publicity stunt for an energy drink firm, not a sporting event.

He does have a point tho.

Would you say Crankworx isn't a sporting event?

No I don't mean it like that Those guys are athletes as much as anyone.

I think tho for most of the riders just being there and riding that terrain and conquering their own fears makes them all victors. I guarantee you the very last thing on any of their minds when they drop in is the judges scoresheet.

Also. how the *******ing ****** WTF ********************* was Zink's backflip?

This is all I can find:

Riders took their first runs, and 11 guys managed a second run before the contest was called off due to the wind.

http://dirt.mpora.co...ge-results.html

Waited till 00:45 and still didn't resume. It was starting to look like they were going to call it off..?

I heard the commentators saying that McGarry was thinking about front flipping the canyon on his 2nd run

Probably better that they called off the competition... fronting that thing would be victory or death (odds leaning towards the latter)

Any idea how far into the coverage I should go to see Strait's run?

I was in Chatel watching the Mountain style event in 2011 (I watched qualies not the main event) and seeing the features on that track up close gave me shivers. The chicken line on the roll in drop had a 8m vertical drop. I got vertigo just standing next to it. The drops and gaps were beyond comprehension.

The rampage stuff tho makes Chatel look like a pumptrack.

Just rewatched McGarry's run... He got Norbied!

Straits run was fluid... yes... but pretty uneventful.

McGarry should have won!

Eish, I'm tired today.

Some damn good riding at Rampage but I thought that McGarry's run was far better than Kyle's. That backflip on the gap jump was insane!

Just a pity that only the 1st runs counted.

He did at least win with the fans.

I felt it was a bit of an anticlimax, maybe it got hyped a bit too much.

I don't know who else noticed, but Cam Zink had extra padding on the outside of his helmet shell.
