I put up a little rant on the SASA FB page - the response was that GM did us proud but I should take up his lack of nomination with the relevant federation - CSA I presume? If so, can we believe them that they did put him forward? I don't think so....

The SA Sports Awards process relies on the various Sporting Federations to input names of their best performers for nomination. Greg Minnaar is a great sportsperson that has made South Africa proud. Perhaps you should contact his federation to find out what went wrong?"

Prize money for Sportsman of the year is R 1 million of which you have to donate 500 000 to a sporting charity, and a brand new car.

If a cyclist would ever win Sportsperson of the year, would they still have to pay the 10% to CSA?

Apparently Greg and my boet are going to gatecrash… :whistling:

Who isn't exactly Gordon Banks by any manner of means!

I see CSA has been nominated under "federation of the year"

Please tell me what they have done for us or the sport (besides leech license fees).

i see this question over and over and i always ask .what do you want them to do? and i never get a reply.

How about a on-line petition / Vote of no confidence in CSA?

If they are indeed to blame, how can we get confirmation of this?
