Simon Yates (OGE) abandons

“Yes, it would be nice for him to finish the Tour, but it was a group decision that enough is enough and we have a lot of goals for him in the second half of the season.”

Impressive 2nd by Haussler

Bauer on the left grimaces as the sprinters overtakes him in the final 20 metres

Sagan weaves his way to an impressive 3rd

Kristoff gets it just right.

One of my club mates bought a Trek, Project 1 - very interesting setup of the rear brakes under the chainstays just behind the BB.

Edit: normally only see it on a TT bike

Most manufacturers are going back to seat stay brakes.Mackies can't get to them on the move and they a shlep

to clean after a wet ride.

"I thought I was stronger than Martin but maybe I waited too late. I faked being tired but felt I had more punch left. I waited until 400 metres to go. I thought I had it but then I realised in the last 50 metres, that I had nothing."

So I'm down to 6 riders. Ah well. Good ride Simon. I'll reserve a spot on my team for you next year.
