Dreamy Long Travel / AM Hardtails

Honestly, after putting together my own long travel hardtail I can come to the following conclusion:They aren't particularly good at or for anything.

As an N+1 bike that sits among your quiver of purpose-build bikes, it doesn't descend the best, climb the best (nor was it the cheapest by far) and it just rips my old-man knees and ankles apart.

I'm not going to do a sani2c on it, nor a Harties downhill run on it.

But holy balls is it a sexy machine, and a load of fun to ride too. To the extent that it'll probably see the most butt-time than any other bike I own.

GIVE IT TIME DUDE!!! takes a while to settle on a hardtail again.....

i came off a dh bike and a rowdy build pyga 110 29er. I was not totally useless on either. Almost ...but not totally...

I have seen a lot of my pb  fall to the Kingdom slowly but surely.... most surprisingly not only on the smooth fast stuff like giba..... but also on the rocky bits at howick etc.....  it took a fair amount of getting used to....

she is a svelte 11kg on the dot, which for a 140mm trail bike with dropper and 4 pot brakes is pretty good.....if you are prepared to keep momentum and go for it rocks arent that much of an issue... the lightness of her makes her a tad more flickable and maneuverable... for me that is...... bearing in mind my 114kg 1.96m of bike abusing lard

I flipping love mine ..... to the point I only have her left.... PYGA SOLD..... DH BIKE SOLD.... (probably to pay for the kingdom hahahahah)post-16606-0-41346600-1523882791_thumb.jpgpost-16606-0-45983700-1523882826_thumb.jpg
