BNB Bike Rack

Hi guys,

 

Has anyone bought one of those platform BNB bike racks from Makro for R1799?

I have got one, bought it from game, the only problem I had was the hight of the rear support that is going to hold the bikes(the thing with the clamps on) I lengthened mine with some pipe and had it resprayed - otherwise very good value for money, they only come in 2 bike no 3 bike as far as I know.

Have a mate who has one, works fine. Not the lightest of bike racks but does the job

Yep, also got mine at Game. Have a look there, I know the Cresta branch has them for R1480.

Good value for money. It's no Thule, but it does the job...

Makro in PE has one demo left at R999.00. Looks and feel solid. I bought this one for R799.00 also on special @ PE makro. Same as pic but for 2 bikes, they vome with numberplate holder, lights and lead.

What brand carrier is that in the pic? I need to buy a platform rack before Dec, I only have 2 bikes. Those BNB racks are too bloody heavy! Is yours a bit lighter?

BnB Rack, bought at makro, weight 15.7kg for x2 bike rack, you also get an extention to convert this rack to a 4 bike rack, now busy assembling it, will post picture when finished

JJ watse maak fietsrak is daai? Ek het 'n Thule een wat 'n fiets aan hang maar hy werk nie meer so lekker nie ek soek 'n platform rak. Waarvoor gaan daai 2fiets rakke?

Sorry guys,... also looking to get a platform rack and the last thing i would of worried about with a platform is the weight of it.Would of thought a more solid platform would be better for the bikes ;ie less rattle/bounce. Do you mean if trying to hitch it up solo its very heavy to do,cause i mean its not like its gonna tilt your car back.

Dis n BnB rak, makro verkoop hulle, x2 verskillende tipes, R1400 tot R1700 as ek reg is, gaan hom die naweek uittoets, sal dan laat weet wat ek dink.
