Top end kiddies bikes.

I bought my daughter a JD Bug a while back and it's only recently that I've realised how poor the geometry is. The top tube joins the seat tube pretty high up and the bars are low. The Spez Hotwalk on the other hand has a low top tube and higher bars giving it a more comfortable less twitchy ride. Got my boy a Strider which also looks more comfortable.

Get her a balance bike and keep her off training wheels.

my son was on his for a year and at 4 he was riding a proper bike.

My 3yr old got a WE bike we bought at Sportmans Warehouse.

 

 

he is turning 4yrs next month and i'm struggling to find a small bike with pedals. he is not the biggest of fellows and a lot of the small bikes is a bit too big for him.

 

needless to say, the shop can keep the training wheels

Specialized make a really nice one but like all things Spez they are not cheap.

I put 2 boys through the JD, they were riding BMX @ 5 years old. Now 8 and 10 years and on 24"ers just about to go onto small 26"ers

 

Still got the whole fleet in the garage, very cool.
