davetapson Posted November 22, 2013 Share Has anyone tried running Endomondo and Strava at the same time? Can they share GPS input?

Skubarra Posted November 22, 2013 Share Why not just copy your workout from one to the other afterwards? No need to run both at the same time?

Donovan Le Cok Posted November 22, 2013 Share I have done it once. I can't remember if it affected the battery life at all. Now I just upload from one to the other.
garrethk Posted November 22, 2013 Share Use Discovery Vitality Fit and Endomondo at the same time without a problem. Vitality Fit to get points and Endomondo for stats. Multiple apps can use GPS at the same time and seem to play nice and have not seen any significant change in battery usage. I find switching off packet data once the apps are running and switching back on when I finish my workouts helps a lot with battery usage. My phone now has ANT+ support and I link up my heart rate monitor with that. ANT+ does not play nicely when used with multiple apps simultaneously . Works better for me as I do not track my gym workouts on Endomondo.
