First to admit I can barely wheelie and would probably head butt the windscreen if I tried this. Just saying, you going to all the trouble of filming it and creating the publicity - make it 100% believable by filming the entire event with no 'unseen' moments...

I get the idea that like most of his moments captured on film this is very impromptu, a spur of the moment thing. He was just fooling around and someone in the car was capturing it on video.

 

If they were going to go to all the trouble to place a ramp and obviously first practice it to see if it was possible, they then would have had a professional film crew with multiple camera angles, slow motion shots, dramatic music, Sharks Cheerleaders etc.

 

As many of his mad skills have been captured live during or after events in front of thousandsI have no reason at this stage to believe this is a fake.

The ad is intended to look like it's shot by an amateur in the hope that it goes viral, much the same as the ads of Ronaldhino repeatedly hitting the crossbar, Federer hitting a coke can off a guy's head, etc. It's obviously staged and almost certainly required a ramp. It doesn't detract from the fact it took skill to pull off and that Sagan is a pretty cool character.
