chaos_za Posted December 18, 2013 Author Posted December 18, 2013 And this is the bike so far: Bought new bar tape and new back tyre today, so that is definitely changing, then its just a matter of polishing up the old derailleurs and setting up all the cables and it will be done! Looking pretty hot so far! Anyone want to swap a black saddle for my white one?

I polished up the friction shifters as well last night, and wired up the brakes. Dont know if I will want to ride the bike anymore, think i may just stare at it from now on haha! johanpre44 and RodTi 2

Modern vintage Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 The Finished frame: Then i started on the polishing up of the old alu parts using the same polishing kit (Torkacraft I think) posted in one of the other SS projects on this forum, parts came out really good but it took a day of elbow grease to shine up the seat post, cranks and stem. Before: After: Much Bling! Check this out, I matte powder coated and did some high polishing on the ally bits.
