Why'd you have to say that, I was set on the ruffian, and now this is the second time I read, in two days, that the rogue is awesome....

Action Cycling have Yeti's which are not as fat as the Rogue but thicker than the skinnies.

The theory (as I understand it) around rogues being better is that the extra thickness does a little better job at cancelling out trail buzz. Also your hand position is more natural (less clenched). The sacrifice is less control.

I've run Ruffians and Rogues in the PDS where your hands take more of a beating than anywhere here and I'll never take a bike to the Alps without Rogues again.

Sad, but true. Same my side.

I have an extra pair of Rogues for you if you're keen.

Sliiick has more than enough rogues, mine are gonna start falling apart soon. I'll take those rogues off your hands if you want to get rid of them!

Hey all,

Quick question. Is there anyone in cape town, or an online shop in SA that actually stocks these grips? I found the list of dealers and phoned a few, no one seemed to have any :(

I see many people manage to get hold of these for their builds, are they all ordered from CRC?

Send me a PM if absolutely cannot find it. I am Flying to CT on Monday and can get Oury's and Rogue's from my LBS here in Switzerland. They are not cheap at CHF36 each. I can bring a set of two. I am bringing a brand new set of Rogues to go on my Epic as well. Best grips out there.

The Specialized Enduro XL is very similar to the Rogue but just feels a tad smaller in diameter. Have been very happy with them as well. Only reason I went with the Rogue is that the Enduro XL was out of stock at the time.

Craig has taken me up on my offer.

If you've got massive paws like me, the rogue is the way forward.

The Vans edition are the coolest looking ones though...

I read a review in a "What Mountain Bike" where the guys were not super impressed by the Vans model. Apparently the waffle like skateboard shoe grip is the least grippy of all.

I like the Rogue too as I have big hands. Only models for me on any bike would be the Rogue, Oury and the Spez Enduro XL

Just my 2 cents worth

Morningside Cycles stocks ODI grips if anyone in JHB is looking for some.

I use the Ruffians, the thinner profile lets me use only one finger to brake, which gives me a bit more control on descents since I like to hold on for dear life on anything even slightly steep :P

I got mine from Will (William's Bike Shop). They didn't have the exact same ones I picked up in stock when last I was there, but there were some others available.
