Did you noticed that you can now export from the flow website.

 

Open a exercise.

Scroll to the bottom of the page.

You will find two buttons.

One to export the session and one to remove the training.

 

Once you click on export session you get two options.

one for Route only and one for the complete training.

 

Great news, thanks for posting....not sure i would have noticed that.

Will try it out on my powerbeam sometime.

 

Lately (since last week sometime) I have been having problems getting my v800 to sync, when i connect the usb cable to the computer it starts to charge but the flow sync page does not open. If i click on the flow sync icon it opens but does not see the v800. Went through all the trouble shooting as per v800 help page and only thing that works is to reboot my computer.

Yes IE latest version...

 

Anyone else expereinced this?

Had a read through this thread, does the v800 track swimming properly (yet)?

Does any watch really track swimming properly? Other than the Garmin swim maybe.

Noticed on the weekend that the gradient function while riding or post ride does not show the gradient....the screen shows a place for gradient but there is no actual gradient indication.

 

Has anyone managed to get the gradient function to work?

The gradient function / display is only available to if you have a speed sensor on your bike.

Great....well that explains it.

i bought a gps watch to get away from speed sensors et al....

i guess i'll just have to guess the gradient....

a bit like fishing.... really guys it was thiiiiiiis big steep...

Mine won't connect since yesterday. Still worked fine on Saturday but after my road ride on Sunday nothing happens when I connect it to a pc - doesn't charge nor sync. I did a "soft reboot" and cleaned all the contacts, still nothing. Super frustrating! When will Polar open a workshop in Cape Town?!

There were issues with the Polar site over the weekend - check again later today or tomorrow before looking for a workshop.

I know they were down for "maintenance" on the 24.10

I last connected on Saturday evening so cannot confirm if its a common problem but did look quickly on the polar forum and did not see any related complaints.

 

If its not charging it sounds like an issue with your watch or usb connection, sorri i know how frustrating it can be when this happens.....usually on the rare occasion something similar happens i clean both the watch and clip contact points lightly with a little nail brush slightly moistened and then wipe dry and blow dry with hair drier...LOL

Even with the site down, it should still charge. I cleaned the contacts with a earbud & surgical spirits and then a dry cloth, no joy. I wish I could borrow a cable to check if it works. I'd hate to lose a full week of use when I could have carried on using the watch and just waited for a new cable. Again, if only they had a local workshop...

With Speed Services striking, getting the watch to Midrand will now cost me R180 one way! If only Polar had a local workshop...

What kind of crazy courier is that?

It shouldnt cost more than R80 to send.
