Eldron Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Was a bit wet through the "vlei" in 2013!!  It's always a problem with this race. 99% flat'n'fast race and 1% hubdeepwetbearingdestroyingsludge. There has to be a way around that swamp. It's not "real mountain biking" - it's plain old equipment destroyer. ChUkKy 1

DKS Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 I seem to be having a problem, it keeps asking me to purchase a CSA license of which I am already a member. Out of principal refuse to pay as I already have one. Anyone else experience a similar problem. This is also the first race I have done where they are using the racetec chip. (Mtb race that is)

It's doing the same for me.... Not sure, I have renewed for 2014, and was Member for 2013, will try contact them in the morning and report back. As far as I know it is valid for a calendar year. scotty Posted January 16, 2014 Author Posted January 16, 2014 Flat and fast total climb for long distance is only about 320m, did not find it muddy last year but with rain everywhere is going to be muddy, the only issue last year was someone removed the sign directions resulting in riders taking the wrong directions. Route last year.
