Both of you got beaten by an old fat guy who carbo loaded with beer the night before and who is so unfit he didn't put in a single pedal stroke on the last stage....... Tsk Tsk!

I went off course in stage 1 (overshot the berm), and crashed in stage 2 (OTB) and Stage 3 (slid out into one of the hard Switch backs)

Im so unfit too tho, and all that uphill really killed me on my 20kg Izimu...

Its only my 2nd week back on the bike after abt 3 years :)

AND Ill hopefully see you all at the next one.

All I can say is, I'm glad we weren't timed on the uphills

Ja. They'd need to use continental drift to time me.

SS1 was Canary 2 & 3

SS2 was the double black all the way down including the bit across the piste and into the flow trail right to the bottom(starting not right at the top but at the road crossing where the cement road is)

SS3 was the Quarry trails. Starting just below that death corner right to the bottom.

Considering you had to wait for me on the uphill (more than once) you cannot imagine how glad I am it is not timed. In my case they could have used a calendar.

sheesh, now thats funny..... not to sound like an A$$ but what are you guys talking about with the uphills? they really werent that bad.

like seriaas , my weekly normal 20k (updownupdownupdownupdownand up again and down) rides are like 650+m of ascent....

the only place that was a bit bleh is they put me straight into SS2 without even a minute of prep.
